Many SLA members represent corporate and other special libraries beyond the walls of public and academic libraries. While many have both paper and digital media collections, there continue to be valuable collections in these libraries that are on microfilm. The customers here are telling us that as more and more information is on digital platforms, it makes it all the more important to have a way to bring the use of their film collections into the same footprint without having to scan the entire collection. The new ViewScan is the perfect product to do this. It allows rolls of film and other film media such as microfiche and aperture cards to be viewed on a large PC screen just like the other parts of the collection that have already been scanned. It also allows for a scan of images being viewed to be added to the digital collection, or taken away from the library in a digital form on a thumb drive or via email in less than a second.

ALA Summer Conference
One of the best venues to see our new product will be the ALA Summer conference in Washington D.C.
